Taking the KTM 790 Adventure through the desert - with accessories from SW-MOTECH
The new dual-sport motorcycle from Mattighofen is one of the most fascinating bikes of the season. As of May, SW-MOTECH, the specialist in luggage and accessories, is offering a wide range of accessories for it.
The right luggage solutions
If you want to travel with the new 790 Adventure, you'll need the right luggage solutions and suitable accessories when it comes to protection and navigation. That's why SW-MOTECH has developed special components for this bike: sturdy PRO side carriers have been adapted to the 790 Adventure for luggage transport on lengthy tours - that means TRAX ADV or AERO ABS side cases can be easily and snugly attached to the bike.
On the rear, the ADVENTURE-RACK provides sufficiently large contact surface for drybags and other tail bags. Anything that you need quick and easy access to, such as wallets, keys, smartphones or water bottles, are best kept in an EVO tank bag. With the EVO tank ring, the tank bag can be quickly and securely attached to the bike.
Protection for every purpose
For long tours and trips in terrain, the sensible thing is to use various protection components. Particularly noteworthy are the new crash bars that SW-MOTECH has specially developed for the two 790 Adventure and 790 Adventure R models. They can protect the low-lying plastic tank from damage caused by accidents.
Damage to the fork feet and the rear axle can be prevented by using the corresponding crash pads. For protection on off-road trips with the KTM, matching KOBRA handguards are also available. Injuries and damage caused by rock chips and other objects can thus be prevented during off-road driving.
Secure stand
SW-MOTECH has designed a sturdy centerstand for securely standing the KTM 790 Adventure on soft and uneven terrain during repairs and longer stops. For short breaks, the matching side stand foot extension can give the bike extra hold due to its wider support area.
Also on the agenda at SW-MOTECH: the sturdy and well-positioned cockpit GPS mount, which ensures a clear view of the TFT display while navigating. So you can go back to exploring the desert again.
