It's finally here: the new adventure bike from the Ténéré family. Sturdy, yet lightweight and with no major technical bells and whistles. Just a good bike for long offroad trips and journeys to any corner of the world. Lots of storage for luggage

The removable tank lid made it necessary to build a specific adapter for the ION and EVO tank rings. With just one hand, models like the EVO City or the ION one can be fastened securely and quickly. As such, small and necessary travel items such as wallets, keys, smartphones or water bottles are easily accessible and the tank bag can be quickly detached during pit stops.

Sturdy PRO side carriers made of 2.5 mm-thick steel are completely removable thanks to the proven QUICK-LOCK quick-release fasteners. They ensure a secure hold for the TRAX ADV aluminium cases on both sides. An URBAN ABS or TRAX ADV top case can be attached to the sturdy ADVENTURE-RACK behind the seat and the rack also offers a large enough contact surface for large waterproof tail bags such as the Drybag 350 or the Drybag 600. With two large side cases and a Drybag 600, up to 150 litres of luggage can be transported waterproof and dust-free through all weather zones.

Protection for the engine and other components

The Ténéré is made for the 'land out there'; that's what the name means in the Tuareg language and it is used to refer to the desert area in northern Niger. A sturdy engine guard made of 4 millimeter thick, brushed aluminium sheet protects the powerful Crossplane two-cylinder with the oil filter in the front and the header pipes from damage caused by flying rocks and debris when off-roading.

If the bike does fall, the robust powder-coated crash bars, featuring 22 and 27 mm pipe diameters, can protect the side panels and other components from damage. A cover made of brushed 2.5 mm thick aluminium sheet has also been specially developed for the brake pump of the Ténéré 700. For the handlebars, KOBRA handguards provide valuable protection for the driver's hands when driving through shrubbery and in a cold airstream. The quadruple LED headlights on the Ténéré 700 protect the headlight guard from large flying rocks.

A safe and comfortable trip

The XT 700 Z can stand firmly and securely, both when fully loaded or during repairs and maintenance work, on the centerstand made of high-quality steel tubing. Thanks to a new technology, the stand can be mounted without any effort: The spring is suspended without tension and tightened with a screw. In low visibility, the fog lights underneath the main headlights provide greater light and visibility. You can attach a GPS mount above the simple LED display in the cockpit of the Ténéré 700 which will provide many low-profile GPS devices with vibration-free support.
