Officially, the Niken is a motorcycle and can't be driven with a car driver's license, and we think that's good, because it is as swift as an arrow despite its three wheels. Many riders are enthusiastic about Yamaha's Leaning Multi-Wheeler that offers solid and safe ridability with its 115 horsepower, 3-cylinder engine. It's all in the name: NIKEN – loosely translated from Japanese, the bike's name means "Double Sword".

SW-MOTECH has put the 3-wheeled motorcycle on the hydraulic hoist and kitted it out for the next big tour: Four different EVO tank bags are available for the EVO tank ring that was specially designed for the Niken. The smallest model, the EVO Micro tank bag with a volume of up to 5 liters, securely transports all your important valuables and provides quick access to keys, wallet and mobile phone.

Luggage solutions for the tail
Various luggage solutions are available for the rear, all of which are attached to the bike-specific SLC side carriers. A quick lock system allows URBAN ABS side cases or the SysBags to be attached and removed in just a few easy hand movements, without the rider foregoing reliable bag fastening. One of the three new SW-MOTECH ION tail bags can also be attached to the passenger seat, if there is a greater need for storage space.

Protection for engine and axles
Despite its three wheels, the Niken does not stand freely, but is placed on the side stand. In uneven terrain, the extension for the side stand foot designed by SW-MOTECH can provide additional support. If a fall does occur, protective components can prevent major damage: The Niken crash bar and front axle frame slider kit provide additional protection for engine parts and the fork feet of the double upside-down drive shaft. Since the Niken is powered by the MT-09 engine, the 3-wheeled Sport Tourer can be fitted with the same front spoiler or engine guard as the conventional MT-09.

The KOBRA handguards and a large selection of navigation kits provide more comfort and a safe ride in the cockpit – in addition to the two front wheels, which offer secure grip even at a great lean angle.
